Tschingg Oberdorf is a casual Italian pasta-and-pizza spot located on Oberdorfstrasse in Zürich, right at the edge of Altstadt. Come here when you want something properly cooked, not a fussy, overpriced show—think generous portions and a relaxed, easygoing vibe.
What stands out is how quickly it moves without tasting rushed: pasta is cooked fresh and lands hot, with that “made right before you eat” feeling. It’s the kind of place where a simple lunch break turns into a satisfying reset—grab a small pizza, or stick to what they do best: freshly cooked pasta with classic sauces like pomodoro. Pair it with a glass of Etna Bianco wine if you’re lingering, or keep it quick and get back to your day.
For value, expect most mains around 15–20 CHF, with a student-friendly 10 CHF deal (pasta pomodoro plus iced tea) that’s hard to argue with in central Zurich. You’re paying for location and speed—but you’re also skipping the tourist-markup attitude.
Insider tip: Go slightly before noon to dodge the queue, and if you’re in a hurry, order takeaway—food often comes out in about 30 seconds. If you want quick, reliable Zurich restaurant energy, this is the move.

a month agoWe're a football club, and this year we celebrated our Christmas dinner at Puci's Bellevue. We change the location every year, and this year EVERYTHING was perfect! All the coaches were completely satisfied. Plenty of good food, a warm atmosphere, a separate dining area, and very friendly staff. Thank you so much, dear Puci's team, keep up the great work!
