Restaurant Le Cèdre – Badenerstrasse is a Lebanese restaurant located in Langstrasse, Zürich. Come for the warm, owner-led hospitality and stay for the energy—on Fridays and Saturdays, there’s even a lively dance show that turns dinner into a proper night out.
The food is the real draw: beautifully plated, authentic Lebanese flavours that shine best when you share. Their spread of seven small plates is the move—think creamy dips, fragrant grilled bites, and bright, herby salads that keep your fork busy. Add a glass of fresh pomegranate juice and you’ve got that sweet-tart kick that cuts through richer dishes perfectly. The dining room feels spacious and atmospheric—more “evening escape” than cramped city stop.
Price-wise, it sits in the premium range, and portions are fair rather than huge. But you’re paying for craft, consistency, and service that actually feels personal—no rushed tourist-trap vibes, just a place that takes pride in feeding you well.
Insider tip: Book for 8 pm on a Friday, order the Lebanese mezze to share, and arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in before the show. Go hungry, leave happy.

in the last weekEdited: After getting the official report from the hospital, I have forwarded the report and details of the incident to the restaurant via email. Not surprisingly, got a classic „everything is fine from our end“ response. We dined here dinner on January 1, 2026. Unfortunately, one of us became violently ill with severe vomiting and diarrhea shortly after the meal. The symptoms were so serious that we had to go to the hospital emergency room at midnight. Please be careful.
