in the last weekÄss-Bar is an innovative Swiss chain (founded in 2013) that fights against food waste by selling fresh, yesterday’s baked goods (brot, gipfeli/croissants, sandwiches, quiches, salads, etc.) collected from partner bakeries. Everything is perfectly edible and delicious, but at prices ~50% lower than fresh products – a sustainable and affordable concept, pioneered in Switzerland. The Stadelhofen branch is located in the Zürich Stadelhofen train station, on level -1, making it ideal for travelers, commuters or tourists in the city center.

6 months agoThe concept of Äss-Bar is fantastic. They have everything you could want (I get their heavenly strawberry tarts several times a week!). However, in this particular branch, one or two employees seem either unmotivated or unfocused.
