Supplì Roma is a Roman street-food spot serving iconic fried rice balls and pizza slices, located in Trastevere, Rome. Come hungry and a little patient—there’s often a line, and once you bite into that crunchy shell with a molten mozzarella pull, you’ll get why.
Start with the supplì classico: deep, savoury tomato-and-meat flavour, perfectly seasoned rice, and that creamy center that stretches. The cacio e pepe supplì is the other move—peppery, cheesy, and ridiculously smooth inside while still shatter-crisp outside. If you’re pacing the neighborhood, grab a couple of Roman-style pizza slices too—thin, satisfying, and made for eating on the go.
Value-wise, this is the kind of quick stop that actually earns its hype: you can build a filling snack or a casual meal without paying sit-down prices. Think budget to mid-range depending on how many you “accidentally” order (it happens).
Insider tip: Order at least 2–3 pieces per person (mix classic + cacio e pepe), and go a bit earlier to dodge the longest queue—then keep walking Trastevere with your snack in hand.

in the last weekSupplì Roma is a fantastic spot for classic Roman street food. The classic supplì are outstanding and an absolute bargain at just €2 each while the pizza is equally delicious with very reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient even when I struggled to pronounce the Italian names correctly. I highly recommend this place for an authentic and quick bite in the city.
